Pulverised fuel fired, once through, steam boilers
The achievement of high steam generation efficiency values required the complete modification of boiler steam - water system, when compared with drum system. Due to the licence acquired from Sulzer, RAFAKO became a leading manufacturer of such boilers, even though the number of lignite fired boilers was significantly smaller than the number of hard coal fired ones. Opole Power Plant with its four BP-1150 boilers is our major reference within this field.
