Pulverised lignite fired boilers with steam drum
All boilers of this type operated in Polish power plants were manufactured by RAFAKO. Poland has three lignite mining basins: Turów area, Konin area and Bełchatów area. The first two basins have four power plants: Turów, Pątnów, Adamów and Konin equipped with drum type boilers. Moreover, RAFAKO exported a whole series of such boilers to Turkey, former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Hungary. These boilers are still the strong points of our export reference list. Furnace construction was developed on the grounds of a licence acquired from EVT (currently Alstom Power).
