Management Board

Maciej STAŃCZUK President of the Board 

An experienced manager holding executive and advisory roles in both domestic and international markets, co-creator of banking strategies in conventional and renewable energy sectors, and an expert in securing investment financing in the energy sector.

He began his career in the 1990s at Polski Bank Rozwoju of Warsaw, where he ultimately served as a Member of the Management Board responsible for risk.

From 1995 to 2010, he was associated with WestLB Bank Polska, where he held the positions of Member and then President of the Management Board.

In 2010−2013, he was President of the Management Board of Polski Bank Przedsiębiorczości.

Then, in 2014−2015, he held the position of President of the Management Board of Polimex-Mostostal.

During his professional career, Mr Stańczuk has served on a number of supervisory boards, including the PBG Supervisory Board (from 2016). In November 2019, he was delegated by the Supervisory Board to the Management Board of PBG, and in February 2020 he was appointed Vice President of the Management Board.

On 4 February 2020, he was appointed to the Supervisory Board of RAFAKO. On 22 January 2021, he was delegated by the Supervisory Board to the Management Board of the Company. From 29 June 2021, he served as a Member of the Management Board, from 14 September 2021, as Vice President of the Management Board, and from 7 June to 5 October 2023, he was the President of the Company’s Management Board.

He has been an economic advisor to Konfederacja Lewiatan since 2017 and was previously for many years the Vice President and Chief Economist of Pracodawcy RP (Employers of Poland).

He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGPiS) (foreign trade), the University of Göttingen (economics), the University of Mannheim (international economic relations), and the AMP management program at IESE in Barcelona. 

 

Cezary KLIMONT - Member of the Management Board

An experienced manager who has held executive positions in international corporations and leading Polish companies, managing numerous and diverse teams.

Throughout his career, he has served as both Management Board President and Member (mainly CFO), with responsibility for areas such as finance, IT, and investor relations.

Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in guiding companies through complex change processes, such as transformations, mergers, and the implementation of IT systems (Oracle, Workflow). He has successfully led restructuring programmes aimed at optimising company structures and increasing the efficiency of their resources. He has also completed an IPO for RUCH S.A., raising PLN 250 million in issue proceeds.

At RAFAKO S.A., Cezary Klimont will be in charge of finance and operations.
