The first paper "Improving Capacity and Efficiency of FGD Absorbers at Power Units No 5 and 6 at PGE Belchatów Power Plant, Poland" will be presented by Ms. Paulina Małkiewicz. It will be on FGD plant retrofit at lignite fired Bełchatów Power Plant and we are pleased to say, it as been selected as one of three finalists within the Track 4 for the annual ‘Best Paper Award’. The authors of the paper are: Jerzy Mazurek, RAFAKO S.A. and Jacek Jurkowski and Robert Młynarski from PGE Bełchatów Power Plant.
The paper will be given on Tuesday, June 3 during Session 2: Flue Gas Desulphurization & Mercury Control, room: Rheinsaal 6, Second Floor at 16.00 - 17.30.
The second presentation will be given by Mr. Krzysztof Janeczek. The paper title is: "CFB Boiler Fired with Bio and Agromass with Innovative Combustion Chamber Design at Jaworzno Power Plant in Poland - Operational Experience". It will cover the design and operational experience of biomass fired CFB boiler installed at Jaworzno Power Plant belonging to Tauron company. The authors of the paper are: Marek Pawlik and Józef Żyła from RAFAKO S.A. and Kazimierz Szynol, Director of Jaworzno III Power Plant..
This paper will be presented on Wednesday, June 4 during Session 3: Advanced Fluidized Bed Technology, room: Rheinsaal 6, Second Floor at 9.00 - 10.30.
