On 17 Novemeber 2004 a consortium of ALSTOM Power Service GmbH and RAFAKO S.A. signed a contract with JP TE Nikola Tesla and Jugoelektro A.D. of Serbia and Montenegro for general repair of B1 power unit of Nikola Tesla Power Plant.

The project is scheduled to be completed by October 2005.
